In my opinion a heroic profession is the one in which people risk their lives in order to learn something new or to save the lives of other people.
Now I want to tell you what professions I personally admire. First of all, it's ussual people's profeshions.
It’s very hard to be a fireman. You never know at what time you must immediately jump into the car and rush to a burning object. You should act very fast, because each lost minute can one human life
In my opinion a heroic profession is the one in which people risk their lives in order to learn something new or to save the lives of other people.
Now I want to tell you what professions I personally admire. First of all, it's ussual people's profeshions.
It’s very hard to be a fireman. You never know at what time you must immediately jump into the car and rush to a burning object. You should act very fast, because each lost minute can one human life.
I think a doctor is also a heroic profession,
without doctors we wouldn’t know how to cure illnesses. The most responsible
job is that of a surgeon. You must have a lot of knowledge, practice,
courage and responsibility to make an operation. If you make it
well- you’re a hero, but if you fail, everyone will say that you have
done not everything, that you could do.
The same thing I can say about policmen,
nurses, aid workers etc. Dozens of young men would like to follow their
example and we are frankful to them.
But I would like to say more about the heroism of present days. As for me, the hero is also a person who helps millions overcome their excuses, fears and insecurities and start Living Now.
I have some examples of those people.
Sean Stephenson - Author, speaker and board-certified hypnotherapist. He suffered more than 200 bone fractures by age eighteen and is permanently confined to a wheelchair. Despite his challenges, he took a stand for a quality of life that has inspired millions of people around the world, including Tony Robbins, Richard Branson, and President Clinton.
(Sean, a board-certified psychotherapist,
has had more life adventures than most people who are twice his age.
He worked on Capitol Hill for a U.S. Congressman and in the White House
alongside President Clinton. He has also addressed the US Senate on
two separate occasions, traveled the world as a professional speaker
and has even shared the stage with the Dalai Lama. Sean’s best-selling
book is called, “Get off Your BUT: How to end self-sabotage and stand
up for yourself” and is currently working on his pHD.
You might have seen Sean on The Oprah
Show, CNN News, CBS News, WGN News, C-SPAN, the Discovery Health Channel,
Jimmy Kimmel Live, or in the Washington Post or the New York Times.
With all that being said, when you get
to know Sean you’ll realize all of his struggles and accomplishments
are not what defines him as a man. It’s his love for life and unending
pursuit to help millions overcome their excuses, fears and insecurities
and start Living At Cause.)
Also I have another examples
Tony Meléndez is a Nicaraguan American guitar player, composer and singer and songwriter who was born without arms. His mother took Thalidomide (фэлидэмайд) while pregnant, which caused his disability. Meléndez has learned to play the guitar with his feet.
The Pope told Meléndez, "My wish
for you is that you continue to give hope to others and continue in
what you are doing", which inspired him.Meléndez gives motivational
talks and has written a book.
And there are a lot of another heroes nowadays whose despite of all give helping hand to everyone out of heels
